Dwynell Elford Dill, 84, widower of Mabel Howard Dill, formerly of 106 Woodvale Circle, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at Ashlan Village Assisted Living.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Elford and Hattie Clayton Dill, retired owner of Dill's Piano and Organ, a member of Praise Cathedral, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Surviving:
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cindy Dill of Greer; a daughter, Karen Prater of the home; a brother, Jannings Dill of Campobello and two grandchildren, Addison and Amber Dill.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Praise Cathedral, conducted Rev. Rick Wofford, Rev. Virgil Smith, and Rev. Bill Waters. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Dill, Kenny Howard, Steve Howard, Tony Howard, Craig Kirby, and Russ Brannon. Honorary escort will be Max and Zellan Gardner, Zeno and Jean Harrison, Joe and Charlotte Hammrick, Evelyn Satterfield and Richard Dobbins.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
