Evelyn Butler McAbee, 90, widow of S.D. McAbee, passed away January 18, 2021.

A native of Taylors, SC, daughter of the late Ramsey G. and Robbie Caroline Butler. She was a mill worker at Springs Industries and a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Rena Ann Hamrick (George) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Rhonda Carol Gooding (Steve) of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Edie Bumgardner of Lake Hartwell, SC; one brother, Gordon Butler (Diane) of Deltona, FL; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McAbee was predeceased by one son, S.D. McAbee, Jr.; two sisters, Elizabeth Bellwood and Carolyn Wilson.

Funeral Services:

Cryptside services will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum conducted by Dr. Drew Hines.

The family will greet friends after the cryptside service, keeping in mind social distancing guidelines.

The family will be at the home.

Lou Ellen Barnett?s Ladies Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Escort.

The body will lie in state 4-7:30 pm Wednesday January 20, 2021 and 8:30-12:00 Thursday January 21, 2021.
