Florence Timmons, 78, of 205 Mill St., widow of Lewis Timmons, died August 2, 2014 at her home.

She was a daughter of the late Broadus and Mattie Posey James, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens, and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are three sons, Michael May of Taylors, Brian May (Janet) of Easley and Charles May of Augusta, GA; three daughters, Shirley Taylor (Tommy) of Belton, Mary Shelton of Taylors and Elaine Brown (Ted) of Greenville; a brother, Walter James of Walhalla; two sisters, Margaret Brown and Marilyn Bruce both of Easley; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by two sons, Frankie and Jerry Timmons; a daughter, Robin Hammond; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Deon Louw.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service.
