After many years of pain and suffering George is now at peace in his Heavenly Home. He was preceded in death by his father, M.G. Junior Garner.
He leaves behind his mother, Martha Phillips Garner of 59 years. He had two brothers, Phillip and Don both of Taylors along with a niece, Courtney Garner of Charlotte, N.C. and two nephews, Alan Garner and Christopher Garner both of Taylors.
The family wishes to thank their many friends for the numerous visits and prayers with George the past few years. The family especially wants to thank the nurses and staff of Majesty Health and Rehab of Easley, S.C. for their years of devoted care to George.
Also, we want to thank the nurses and staff of Ark Hospice of Easley, S.C. for their hours of exceptionally highly devoted care the past few weeks for George.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary in Greer, S.C.
The graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at East North Street Baptist Church Cemetery, 4108 East North Street, Greenville, S.C., conducted by the Reverend Lindsey O?Rear.
The family is at the home of his brother, Don Garner, 105 Monarch Place, Taylors, S.C.
