Hugh Dorsey Ensley, 82, husband of the late Claribel King Ensley, passed away August 21, 2023.

A native of Startex, son of the late James Jeffrey and Cora Morrow Ensley, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, owner and operator of Golden Strip Printing, and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are three sons, Russell Duane Ensley of Greenville, Greg Thompson (Lorrie) of Piedmont, and Lee Thompson of Nacogdoches, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Ensley was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Price, a brother, James "Jimmy" Ensley, and two sisters, Francis Hines and Betty Dean.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Todd Johnson.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 10:30-11:45 a.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
