James Landon Sarrett, 84, passed away July 13, 2021.

A native of Arnet, W.Va., son of the late Roy and Ruby Rose Sarrett, he was retired from Springfield Tool and Die, a member of Fairview Baptist Church, a member of Bailey Masonic Lodge #146 and The Order of The Eastern Star Greer Chapter #151.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Merita Brown Sarrett of the home; one daughter, Melinda Paton (Kelly) of Greer, one sister, Phyllis Wilson of Taylors; two grandchildren, Katie Roberts (David) of Columbia, S.C., Chris Roberts (Chelsea) of Eureka, S.D., and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Elijah of Eureka, S.D.

Mr. Sarrett was predeceased by one son, Michael Sarrett and two brothers, Rex Sarrett and Ron Sarrett.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Bob Atwell.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 PM Friday, July 16, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
