Jennie Lou Reid Byars, 84, of 263 Shaw Road, died November 15, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Ollie Mae Turner Reid Lister, she was a retired employee of Judson Mill and a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Herman L. Byars of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Tim Corn and Jan and Alan Bouchillon all of Simpsonville; a half-brother, David Lister of Greer; a step-sister, Lucille Bull of Greer; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Byars was predeceased by a son, Larry Byars and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. F.J. Shepard.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Jan Bouchillon, 204 Aspenwood Drive, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
