John "JM" Mayfield Reynolds, 82, passed away at his home on March 18, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg on September 9, 1940, to the late Ralph G. Reynolds and Thelma Campbell Reynolds Cook, he was a retired electrician for National Mechanical. He was an electrician by trade, but his real passion was playing baseball in his younger years.

When he wasn't attending his grandchildren's sporting, musical, and school events, he loved being at home working in his yard and riding his John Deere Tractor. JM enjoyed working on projects around the house as well as at his children's homes. We say "thank you" dad for always being there to help. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Emily C. Reynolds of the home; two daughters, Rita Worley (Tim) of Greer, and Bonnie Warlick (Keith) of Greenville; two sons, Tim Reynolds (Susan) of Greer, and Toby Reynolds of Greenville; one brother, Michael Reynolds (Jan) of Greenville; one sister, Judy Wampole (Terry) of Taylors; seven grandchildren, Christine Truncale (Joey), Hunter Worley (Nichole), Elizabeth Parris (Alex), John Mason Reynolds (Caitlin), Denton Warlick, Olivia Warlick, and Gracie Warlick; four great-grandchildren, Rhett Parris, Palmer Reynolds, Millie Truncale, and Elliana Mayfield Truncale; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by one brother, David Reynolds.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden.

Visitation will be held 12 - 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.

The family would like to thank Wren Hospice for their care the last few weeks.
