Ruth Lorraine Tate Turner, 69, passed away July 6, 2023, at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Wallace Tate and Eleanor Camp Tate Brown, she was a retired CEO/Owner ofCrossroads Group Home and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, James Ronnie Turner of the home; two sons, J.C. Eskew (Amy) of Easley and Forrest Brent Jones of Greer; one sister, Kelly Roseberry of Taylors; eleven grandchildren, James Turner III (Jessica), Jenna Turner (Jeff Nalley), Elijah Turner, Haley Taylor (Andrew), Elliot Poston (Cassie), Fisher Poston (Emilee),
Grace Poston, Hunter Poston, Jaxson Eskew, Kelsey Jones, and Bennett Jones; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by one stepson, James Turner, Jr. and one daughter-inlaw, Dana Jones.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Mark Tinsley, webcasting of the service will be available at www.thewoodmortuary.com.

Burial will follow in the Howell Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Elliot Poston, Elijah Turner, James Turner III, Keaton Van Duinen, Fisher Poston, and Andrew Taylor.

Visitation will be held 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
