Helen Louise Johnson Barbare, 92, widow of Lewis Barbare, passed away on September 2, 2017.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Thomas Clyde and Ella Sue Johnson, she was a homemaker and a member of Victor Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one brother, Cecil Johnson (Doris) of Woodruff; niece, Debbie Messenger; great-nieces, Nikki Phillips and Stacey Lambert and great-great-nephews, Mason and Jackson Phillips.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 4, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery and Rev. Terry Messenger.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be all residents of Snow Street Apartments and special friends, Linda Finch and Shirley McCreight.

Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family extends their gratitude to the caregivers and staff of McCall Hospice House.
