Marah Leigh Bomar Worthy, 27, passed away August 16, 2017.

A native of Greer, she was a daughter of Mark Guy and Robin Lynette Miller Bomar of Taylors, an employee of Wells Fargo and member of Mountain View United Methodist Church. Marah was also a member of her church choir, Rivertree Singers and past member of Greenville Chorale.

Surviving:

Surviving also are her husband, Andrew David Worthy of the home; a sister, Monica Fowler (Jordan) of Greer; her maternal great-grandmother, Marguerite Frick of Cherry Grove, SC; her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Erskine of Greer; father and mother-in-law, Charles Victor and Karen Leigh Worthy of Duncan; sisters-in-law, Katie Worthy McCord and Caroline Grace Worthy both of Duncan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by a maternal grandmother, Virginia Hooker.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Pastor Chris Arries.

Burial will follow in Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2:00 until 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her parents, Mark and Robin Bomar.
