Marcelle Hammond Timmons, 74, passed away July 31, 2017.

A native of Shelby, North Carolina, daughter of the late Paul and Julia Melton Hammond, she was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are three daughters, Roxanne Green (Michael) of Marietta, Linda Guthrie (Ricky) of Easley, and Connie Graham (Keith) of Marietta; two brothers, Lewis Hammond and George Hammond both of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Howard of Travelers Rest and Judy Sellars of Greenville; six grandchildren, Chrissy Taylor (Matt), Joshua Timmons (Tamila), Kasey Graham, Candace Guthrie (Josh Pilgrim), Dustin Green and Austin Green; and eight great-grandchildren, Gracelynn, Brandyn, Arianna, Jayda, McKayla, Brayden, Aleeha and Sutton.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Tony Combs.

Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
