Mary Lou Plemmons Galloway, 94, widow of the late Rev. John Vernon Galloway, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016.

A native of Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Evie Bryant Plemmons, a homemaker and member of the College Park Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving:

Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Lee (Bill), June Hawkins (Frank) and Judy Tipton (Tony), all of Greer; one son, Dr. Julian V. Galloway (Geneva) of Greenville; nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

She also was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Solesbee and two grandchildren, Chuckie Solesbee and Tara Foltz.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Julian Galloway and Rev. Jerry Madden.

Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
