Mary Sue Jefferson Conwell, 70 loving wife, Mama, sister, Nana and friend, widow of Don Lanier Conwell, died October 22, 2012, at her home surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A native of Lynchburg, VA, daughter of the late Franklin and Lillie Monarch Jefferson, she was a medical secretary for the Doctor?s Clinic and The Family Practice and a member of Greer First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Mark Godfrey of Greer and Karen and Stewart Robinson of Roebuck and two grandsons, Jake Robinson and Nathan Robinson.
Mrs. Conwell was predeceased by a brother Frederic Jefferson.
Funeral Services:
Following a private burial, a memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Greer First Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Brandi Casto-Waters and Rev. Wayne Cole.
Honorary escort will be classmates from Greer High School, Class of 1960.
Visitation will be held 1:30-3:00 p.m. Thursday at Greer First Presbyterian Church.
The family is at the home.
