Minnie Jane Bruce Burnett, 85, widow of Joseph William Burnett, died October 19, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Buford and Mildred Durham Bruce, she was a graduate of Jordan High School and Furman University, a former secretary at Greer First Baptist Church and a former member of Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Jeff Durham (Andrea) of Greer; one sister, Geraldine Bentley of Duncan; and a grandson, Russ Durham.

Mrs. Burnett was predeceased by a brother, Carl Bruce and one sister, Lillian Denton.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Washington Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines.

Visitation will be held 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The families are at their respective homes.
