Gus "Mose" Morgan, 82, died November 13, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late I.N. and Annie Owensby Morgan, he was a retired foreman for the S.C. Department of Transportation and a member of Jackson Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kate McKee Morgan of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ron and Dana Morgan of Auburn, Alabama and Donnie Morgan of Greenville; three sisters, Frances Langenbach of Greer, Edna Williams of Marietta and Kate Byrd of Greenville; two grandchildren, Katie Morgan of Auburn, Alabama and Nikki Bayne (Ryan) of Greer; and three great-grandchildren, Aidan Bayne, Brynlee Bayne and Preslie Bayne all of Greer.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Grove United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. John Rush. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Huff, Morris Williams, Ryan Bayne, Mark Turner, Tony McCall and W.K. Epps.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.

The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Jack Brunson and Staff at Thornblade for the love and care given to him for years, also Dr. Michael Towler and the 2nd floor staff at St. Francis Hospital for all the love and care given during his last days, and to Laurie for the love and continuous care in his last days.
