Preston Ernest Patterson, Sr., 74, passed away October 14, 2023.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Roger H. Patterson, Sr. and Thelma Brazie Patterson, he was a U.S. Army Vietnam Era Veteran, a retired employee of Ryder Truck Rental, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Preston E. Patterson, Jr. (Kim) of Taylors and Brian C. Patterson (Cindi) of Taylors; two brothers, Roger H. Patterson, Jr. (Kathy) of Taylors and Joe R. Patterson, Sr. (Faye) of Greenville; one sister, Thelma Leigh Atkins (Steve) of Lyman; a brother-in-law, Jack R. Miller of Travelers Rest; and five grandchildren, Meghan Aho (Hunter), Kara Patterson, Preston Patterson III, Bryson Patterson, and Wyatt Patterson.

He was predeceased by one sister, Rebecca Ann Miller.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2023, at The Woodm Mortuary conducted by Rev. Todd Johnson.

Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
