Alvin Richard Bryant, 77, of 21-A Savannah Street, widower of Lois Roddy Bryant, died December 25, 2012 at his home.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late John Marcus and Ellen Banks Bryant, he attended Northfork Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Tresea Howard of Lyman; Lois Faye Martin of Greenville, Elaine Parks and Lisa Bartlett both of Greer, and Connie Frances Bryant of Lyman; a son, Richard Bryant of Greer; two sisters, Jule Staton of Marietta and Irene Cochran of Taylors; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bryant was predeceased by one daughter, Wanda Bryant.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mountain View Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Lisa Bartlett, 5 Becky Gibson Road, Greer, SC.
