Roxie Whatley Smith, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2022.

A native of Edgefield County, S.C., daughter of the late Hollie and Mary Mason Whatley, she was a retired secretary and treasurer of Aqua-Blue Pools Corporation and member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Nathaniel Smith of the home; and two sons, Nathan Mark Smith and Stephen Claude Smith both of Greenville; one brother, Wayne Whatley of Callison, S.C.; five grandchildren, Reeve Smith, Chelsey Pagan, Savannah Smith, Justin Smith and Danielle Smith; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Rock Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. David Gallamore and Rev. Wayne Turner.

A private entombment will be held.

Visitation will be held 1 until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Reeve Smith, Justin Smith, Dennis Moore, Carlos Pagan, and Tony Tipton.

Honorary escort will be the Seekers Sunday School Class of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

The family is at their respective homes.
