Shirley Elizabeth Roberson Mooneyham, 78, widow of Peyton Harrison Mooneyham, died September 13, 2014.

A native of Greer, she was a daughter of the late James Cecil and Enthie Beatrice Workman Roberson. She attended Queens College.

Peyton and Shirley raised their family in Mooresville, NC where they were members of Central United Methodist Church.

Shirley was an avid animal lover; she worked at the Mooresville Animal Hospital and later worked with the Prudential Group in Charlotte, NC.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Caryl and Ben Adams of High Point, NC and a son, Michael Mooneyham of the home.

Funeral Services:

A private memorial service will be held.

A Remembrance Gathering will be held in High Point, NC at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Shirley?s Aunt Mildred Rochester for her sisterly love and devotion, and special caregiver, Donna Nixon for her family support.
