Shirley Smith McKinnell, 86, passed away on January 1, 2019.

A native of Canton, N.C., daughter of the late Hoke and Nelia Carver Smith, she was a retired employee of JP Stevens Taylors Plant and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Robert (Bob) E. McKinnell of the home; one son, Robert (Bob) Smith McKinnell, (Cathy) of Fairfax, VA and two grandchildren, Kelly Speer McKinnell of Aiken and Nicole Speer McKinnell of Boston, MA.

Mrs. McKinnell was predeceased by one son, Michael Thomas Dann, two sisters, Maxine Pridgeon and Billie Jean Murrell; one half-brother, Tom Smith and two half-sisters, Nellie Sigmon and Elva F. Gillespie.
