Tony Gene Gillespie, Sr., 69, of Lyman, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
He was the loving husband for 46 years of Deborah Laws Gillespie and the son of the late Woodrow and Corrine Herrin Gillespie.
Mr. Gillespie was a member of First Baptist Church Lyman, Irving Southworth Lodge #350, Retired SFC E7 SC Armory National Guard, Hejaz Shrine, Mayor of Lyman, and Huge Supporter of The Byrnes Rebels.?In addition to his wife,

Tony is survived by his sons, Tony Gillespie, Jr. and his wife Kara, and Brian Gillespie and his wife Julie; grandchildren, Emma Kate, Mary Alex, Tony G. "Trad" Gillespie, III, and Aiker.
Funeral Services:
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church Lyman, 80 Groce Rd., Lyman, SC 29365.
Interment will be at Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Rd., Greer, SC 29651.
Honorary escorts are: Adult Men?s 4, Harold Bradley Lyman Restaurant Club, and Town of Lyman Employees.
Pastors, Keith Kelly, Jeff Hickman, and Bill Morris will officiate.
The family is receiving friends in the home.
