William Carl Leonard, Jr., 82, passed away June 4, 2023.

A native of Reidville, son of the late William Carl Leonard, Sr., and Marie McKown Leonard, he was a 1962 Clemson graduate and a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and combat pilot during the Vietnam War.

He was also a retired employee of Sealed Air and a member of Lyman Wesleyan Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Elaine Turner Leonard; a daughter, Carla Blanton Bobo (Michael) of Moore; a son, Mark Turner Leonard (Kimberly) of Monument, Colorado; one sister, Doris "Dottie" Wilson of Hilton Head; and five grandsons, Joshua Leonard (Ashley), Luke Leonard, Christopher Blanton, James Leonard, and Jonathan Blanton.

Mr. Leonard was predeceased by four brothers, D. Forrest Leonard, Gerald D. Leonard, Herman O. Leonard, and Calvin M. "Tack" Leonard, and one sister, Nancy L. Richter.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Kim M. Strong and Rev. Michael D. Bobo.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held at 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
