RHS debate team wins Sweepstake Championship

The Riverside Speech and Debate team won the Team Sweepstakes Championship with 200 points at the 1st Annual Charlotte Catholic Queen City Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Debate team to present radio play Dec. 18

The Riverside High School Speech and Debate Team will present a radio play of "A Christmas Carol" on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Admission is free and the public is invited.

RHS helping others at Christmas

Students at Riverside High School are celebrating the holiday season by giving to others.

Students are bringing in new and gently used coats which will be donated to the Salvation Army. Classes are providing toys and clothing to 33 children from the Salvation Army Angel tree. Harvest Hope Food Bank will benefit from the canned goods that the Warriors have collected. Ambrose named CAWS Cross County Runner of the Year Cate Ambrose, sophomore, was named the South Carolina Coaches Association of Women's Sport (CAWS) Cross Country Runner of the Year. She will be honored Feb. 1st in Columbia.
