Police arrested Shavar Stephenson, 25, who was in possession of a firearm after it was found in his bag that was inside his classroom.
The investigation was initiated Tuesday after the School Resource Officer was alerted by school administrators that there was talk among students that a teacher had a gun in his bag.
It was discovered that Shavar Stephenson, 25, was in possession of a firearm after it was found in his bag that was inside his classroom.
Deputies arrested Stephenson and transported him to the Greenville County Detention Center.
