The White House Salon is decorated for Christmas as it sits at a gateway into downtown Greer at 200 School Street.
Colt Davis, owner and operator, typically decorates the white house for all holidays and honors military and veterans for all patriotic occasions with flags and red, white and blue bunting.
Despite the cold and rain, the Greer Christmas Parade, kicked off at 2:30 this past Sunday, with nearly 70 entries.
Unfortunately the Blue Ridge High School and Greer High School marching bands were unable to attend due to the weather condition's effect on instruments and uniforms. Many band members came out to watch the parade and ride on other floats to support their schools.
The Greer Christmas Parade is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start Sunday – rain or shine, according to Greer Relief Executive Director Caroline Robertson.
The weather forecast is calling for 100 percent chance of rain with a high of 45 degrees Sunday.
