Hospital reveals plans for new interactive, child-friendly lobby

Pediatric patients at Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System and their families will soon have an interactive, child-friendly space in which to regroup and relax thanks to a $300,000 pledge from Carolinas Credit Union Foundation.
Officials from the Foundation, which represents 169 credit unions in North and South Carolina, and GHS Children's Hospital revealed plans for the space today during a ground breaking ceremony.
Long-term health care workshop scheduled July 18

Mark and Amanda Hopper of New York Life will present their quarterly workshop and luncheon, Thursday, July 18 from noon-1:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce.
Long-term care specialist Rebecca Shoaf will explain why long-term planning is essential, the various types and funding of long-term care services, and important tax breaks and incentives available to businesses and individuals in planning for this enormous financial obligation.
