Raegan Loftis, a rising senior at Greer High School, is a summer intern with GreerToday.com. She will be working in marketing and reporting on entertainment and covering Greer Idol and Idol Teen.
During Loftis’ first week she featured Barrett and Bailey Tyler, daughters of Bill and Susan Tyler of Greer, as they prepare for the Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen pageant, respectively. A story on Tall Tales, which began its first summer storytelling scheduled last week, was announced with the season’s schedule.
Loftis is taking a week off for summer vacation but will be writing about the Miss South Carolina pageant and the nearly dozen participants from greater Greer participating this week. She will be staffing Greer Idol and Idol Teen and helping with the video presentation. Loftis will also be introducing people of the cultural arts community that have made impacts in the Greer community.
Loftis has participated and involved in helping with pageants.
Loftis is the Yearbook Editor for the 2014-2015 edition. She is an outstanding student with a 3.98 grade point average and involved in the Beta Club and Future Business Leaders of America and student government.
