The Partnership For Tomorrow supports community festivals, venues for public art and gateways to the city among other economic initiatives. The Greer Family Fest, scheduled Friday and Saturday, is a benefactor of the PFT.

Greer City Park and City Hall was part of a master plan funded and developed by the Partnership For Tomorrow.
Partnership for Tomorrow (PFT) is celebrating the fulfillment of a 15-year commitment to the Greer community.
That commitment, made in 1998 by a group of business and civic leaders who were determined to turn conversation and vision into action, has become reality.
Since 1998, PFT endorsed or supported programs and entities (including Greer Cultural Arts, the City of Greer, Greer Development Corporation and the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce) have produced remarkable results. Some of the notable accomplishments:
• Revitalization of the downtown area.
• Improved gateway, streetscape and parking.
• Downtown façade improvements.
• Multiple venues for public art have been created.
• Attraction of thousands of visitors through community festivals.
• 1,909 new jobs since 2009.
• $211 million in new capital investment since 2009.
• $2.9 billion in gross retail sales since 2009.
• $55 million in new payroll since 2009.
• $195,636 returned to local businesses since December 2011 through shop local campaign.
Public and private sectors have invested more than $5 million to support the efforts of PFT.
“As we look to the future of the Partnership for Tomorrow and the future of our cherished community, it is important to pause and thank those people and businesses who invested in this innovative, change agent so many years ago,” said Larry Wilson, Chairman of the Partnership for Tomorrow board of directors. "Without their support, I wholeheartedly believe Greer would not be where it is today.”
PFT is developing and funding a community master plan that will chart Greer’s course through 2030. The plan will be completed in early 2015.
