RMS 8th graders produce 'Saturday Night Lost in Time'

The 8th grade Riverside Middle School students based their play on “Saturday Night Live” and added the element of time travel, creating “Saturday Night Lost in Time”.

Gallagher, Algebra team lead Riverside Middle in math competition

The champion Algebra Team #1 members were Ikumi Chigusa, Nathan Sun, Luke Adams and Sebastian Alverado.

Leadership Greer Class XXXIV
 

Leadership Greer Class XXXIV and Junior Leadership Class XXV held their graduation ceremony last Tuesday at the BMW Zentrum.

Leadership Greer’s class project, Leaders in Action, a partnership with Christmas in Action, coordinated a project day, and worked on five homes in the Greer area. A donation of $1,000 each was also made to Greer Relief & Resources, Greer Community Ministries, Piedmont Women’s Center, Middle Tyger Community Center, and the Greer Soup Kitchen.

Riverside has mass signings of athletes attending colleges

Julianna Inglesby signed to attend Clemson and be a member of the cheerleading team.
 

Riverside had 20 student athletes sign with colleges Tuesday to continue their athletic career.

3 Riverside lacrosse players sign with NGU for inaugural season

Tristan Lawrence, Jake Berta and Richard DeMatos are flanked by their coaches. The three signed to attend North Greenville University and play for the inaugural men's lacrosse team in 2014-2015.
 

Three Riverside High School players have signed letters of intent to attend North Greenville University and play for the inaugural men’s lacrosse program beginning in 2014-2015.

Tristan Lawrence, Jake Berta and Richard DeMatos will join NGU in the fall and when it begins play in Conference Carolinas. Limestone College gave the conference a top 10 finish last year and Pfeiffer University finished in the top 25.
