Riverside Middle School students are utilizing the Makerspace in the Media Center, where they have the opportunity to work on creative projects.
Most recently students made duct tape wallets.
Carol Lee of Riverside High School has earned All American designation for the 2015-2016 The National Speech & Debate Association.
Lee ranked 16th in the nation with 3,317 points.
Riverside High School raised $73,665 for the Lachlan McIntosh Tannery Foundation during its Spirit Week fundraiser.

Riverside’s first game back from a week off didn’t turn out so well.
Christ Church beat the Riverside Warriors 27-14 in a non-region game Friday night at the Reservation.

The Riverside Warriors won the boys and girls championships at the 33rd Eye Opener cross country meet Saturday at the Milliken Research Center.
Jessie Crowley (18:41.61) was individual medalist in a dash to the finish with teammate Cate Ambrose who was only six one-hundreths of a second behind. It was a spectacular race between former state champions – Crowley last year as an 8th grader and Ambrose, who won in 2014.
Riverside defeated Blue Ridge 47-36 Thursday night to win its’ second game of the season coming into its opening week. The game was played Thursday in advance of expected heavy rain from Hurricane Hermine.
Riverside won for the second time this season (2-1) while Blue Ridge fell to 1-2.
