An art student from the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind created this year’s holiday card for the Mary Black Health System-Spartanburg (MBHS-S).

Melika Washington designed this year's holiday card.

The Walker Foundation at SCSDB has partnered with (MBHS-S) to hold a contest among the school’s art students.

Washington and four finalists received award certificates and gift cards donated by the Mary Black Auxiliary, a non-profit, independent organization which promotes health and wellness in Spartanburg county.

The holiday cards are typically sent to educators, businesses, legislators and supporters of SCSDB and the Walker Foundation.
