The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce has been named a finalist for the Outstanding Chamber of the Year for the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE). It’s the first time the CACCE has established the award. The application year is June 1, 2011 through May 3 this year.

"To be recognized by our peers throughout the Carolinas is quite an honor. However, having our members and community succeed is the highest honor," stated Allen Smith, President/CEO of the Greer chamber.

The winner of the awards will be announced at the annual Management Conference on July 18-20 in Pawleys Island.

The Greater Greer Chamber is among five chambers vying for Carolinas Chamber of the Year.
