Greer Inland Port stays on pace for 110,000 rail moves in FY 2017

The Greer Inland Port handled 9,211 rail moves in October.

 

The Inland Port Greer is on the cusp of breaking 10,000 rail moves a month.

The port handled 9,211 rail moves in October, down 310 from the reported record 9,521 in September.

That brings the fiscal year total to 35,427 rail moves – 8,857 average a month – handled between July and October.

Greer is projected for 110,000 rail moves in fiscal year 2017 ­ – an average of 9,166 a month.
