The Inland Port Greer is on the cusp of breaking 10,000 rail moves a month.
The port handled 9,211 rail moves in October, down 310 from the reported record 9,521 in September.
That brings the fiscal year total to 35,427 rail moves – 8,857 average a month – handled between July and October.
Greer is projected for 110,000 rail moves in fiscal year 2017 – an average of 9,166 a month.
