Greer police searching for two suspects, car, in armed robbery

Greer police are searching for two suspects and a possible vehicle involved in an armed robbery Sept. 16 at 9:33 a.m. at First Choice Cash Advance,1407 W Wade Hampton Blvd.

According to police, two male subjects came into the business shortly after it opened wearing
“old man” Halloween-type masks and blue jeans. One of the subjects pulled out a
handgun and demanded that the employee give them money from the cash registers.

After getting the money, police say one of the subjects used zip ties to secure the hands of the employee and told the employee to lie down on the ground in a restroom. Both subjects then fled
the business.

A possible suspect vehicle was captured on security cameras. The vehicle is maroon in color and was seen at the side of the business around the time of the robbery.

The employee of First Choice Cash Advance was not injured during this incident.
