Bill Looby has joined Greer State Bank as vice president and loan officer of the mortgage division.
Ellie Carroll has joined Greer State Bank as a mortgage loan processor.
Lobby is vice president and mortgage loan officer, and Carroll is a mortgage loan processor.
Lobby has more than 18 years in lending and mortgage lending experience and will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, realtors, builders, and other sources for the origination of residential mortgages loans. He will serve at the bank’s Buncombe Road branch.
Originally from St. Louis, Looby has lived in the upstate area since 1991. He and his wife, Lynn, and their two children reside in Simpsonville and are members of Brookwood Church.
Carroll has more than 17 years of banking and mortgage experience and will serve in the bank’s corporate office on W. Poinsett Street.
Carroll received the 2010 Compass Award for outstanding service from SunTrust. She serves on the Greer State Bank Fun Seekers Committee.
Carroll’s husband, Harris, and their two children reside in Greer.
