Alice Mettralea "Mitch" Vassey Erskine, 91, passed away September 21, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg, daughter of the late Carl Vassey and Mary Lue McCreight Smith, she was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Edward and Margie Erskine of York; a sister, Valerie McAbee of Raleigh, North Carolina; three grandchildren, David Jenkins (Amy) of Greer, Shawna Winter (Gregg) of Lake Wylie, and Katelyn Erskine of Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren, Titus Winter, Sloane Winter, and Zachary Jenkins.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandy Kay Jenkins.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Earl D. Simmons, Sr.
