Lance Cpl. Ryan Benjamin Scheer, 27, died July 17, 2016.

A native of Greenville, son of Kenneth Harrison and Pamela Ann Payne Scheer, he was a graduate of Bob Jones University, actively served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of Trinity Bible Church.

Surviving:

Father Kenneth Harrison and Mother Pamela Ann Payne Scheer. Also surviving are his brother, Andrew N. Scheer (Emily) of Taylors and his maternal grandparents, Donn and Doris Payne of Veedersburg, Indiana.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park with full military rites.

Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday at the church.

The family is at the home of his parents.
