Margie Edwards Odom, 85, widow of Charles Ray Odom, died February 9, 2016.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Alfred Franklin and Florence Hughes Edwards, she was a retired employee of Union Bleachery and a member of Lee Road Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Linda P. Mullinax (Darrell) of Taylors; two sisters, Lena Phillips of Taylors and Mildred Wakefield of Black Mountain, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Hollie Roe and Josh Mullinax (Julie); and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Odom was predeceased by a son, Jerry Aaron Payne, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Todd Stewart and Dr. Lamar Wakefield.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter.
