Mazie Emery Gosnell, 88, of 3567 North Hwy 14, widow of Lewis Gosnell, went home to be with the Lord and her family on December 30, 2012.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late John and Minnie Lindsey Emery she was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

In loving memory of a great mother who worked her life in textiles and retired to enjoy a life with grandchildren who she loved very much and she was loved by many in her life.

Surviving:

Surviving is one son, Roger Lewis Gosnell (Simonie) of Greenwood; one daughter Vicki Gonzalez of the home; one brother Arnold Emery (Pauline) of Landrum; eight grandchildren, Selena Rogers, Dawn Garcia, Roger Gosnell, Jr., Tina Galvan, Tammy Martinez, Travis Gosnell, Katrina Martinez and Chiquita Hernandez; thirty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gosnell was predeceased by a son, Virgel Stephen Gosnell, brothers and sisters, Albert Emery, Daisy Dill, Rev. Leon Emery and one great-great-grandchild Cohen.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Greer Freewill Baptist Church, 110 Pineridge Drive, Greer, S.C. 29651, conducted by Rev. Jammy Carson, Rev. Larry Turner and Rev. Keith Carson.

Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Roger Gosnell, Jr., Jose Hernandez, Jr., Trey Gosnell, Alfredo Hernandez, Noah Hernandez and Martin Martinez.

Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of a granddaughter, Chiquita Hernandez, 213 Westayer Heights, Inman, S.C. 29349.
