Michael Winton Whitlock, 61, of 1019 Lakeview Circle, widower of Shelby Jean Smith Whitlock, died August 30, 2012 at his home.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Ralph Hamby and Dorothy McClain Whitlock, he was a retired employee of Michelin and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter Tammy Kelly Jones of Piedmont; three brothers, Bobby Whitlock (Phyllis) of Travelers Rest, Johnny Whitlock of Greer and Jeff Whitlock of Buford, GA; three sisters Kim Cooley of Simpsonville, Kelley Bricco of Simpsonville and Leigh Craigo of Belton; a grandson John Allen Kelly; step-mom, Gladys Wofford of Fountain Inn and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Mortuary.
The families are at their respective home.
