Raymond Lesley King, 94, died December 11, 2012 at Ashlan Village.

A native of Poestenkill, New York, son of the late Lesley and Clara Effland King, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Salem United Methodist Church, West Sand Lake, New York.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Ellis King of Lyman; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Phillip Vetuschi of Greendale, Wisconsin and Linda and Peter Mader of Greer, South Carolina; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Roberta King of Newborn, Georgia; six grandchildren, Steven Mader, Kimberly Ferguson, Marc Vetuschi, Jeffrey Vetuschi, Aaron King and Michael King; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. King was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys Carner and Mildred Buzzell.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, South Carolina.
