Pastor charged wirh child sex crime

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a pastor for 3rd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and 2nd degree Assault and Battery.

The charges against Moises Norberto Guerrero, 43, are from incidents occurring between 2008 and 2019, against multiple victims, according to law enforcement officials. Investigators received the initial report on Oct. 19, regarding illegal sexual contact made by Guerrero against a minor victim.

Police reported Norberto-Guerrero inappropriately touched a 7 year-old child who attended church services at Iglesia Pentecostal Jehovah Jireh Church, located at 1200 Easley Bridge Road, where Norberto-Guerrero pastored.

During the course of the investigation, another victim came forward on Nov. 16, with information that the defendant inappropriately touched him on multiple occasions.

Investigators conducted investigations into the allegations and found probable cause to obtain warrants on Noberto-Guerrero, who was arrested on Nov. 19.

Noberto-Guerrero remains in the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
