Riverside falls in Region II-4A opener

Larry Harris scores a team-high 12 points for Warriors

Riverside opened its Region II-4A schedule and lost only its second game of the season. Spartanburg beat Riverside 57-52.

Isaac Sims scored 19 points for Spartanburg. Riverside’s Larry Harris scored 12 points.

Riverside is 4-2 overall and plays Boiling Springs Friday in its final game before the holidays.

The Warriors will play the first game of 2014 on Jan. 7 vs. Wade Hampton.
