The Tube Dudes have arrived in Greer and Brayleigh Hendricks, 8, got her own by winning a photo contest and naming the sculpture at City Park, Silly Dude.
Aluminum sculptures with smiling faces, designed by Scott Gerber of Sarasota, Fla., were placed at:
• Greer City Park
• Trade Street, a shopper
• Depot, a railroad conductor
• Kids Planet, child tossing a ball
• Century Park, baseball player
• Fire station, fireman
• Police station, policeman
Hendricks, daughter of Brandi O’Shields, ordered a sculpture, valued up to $2,000, dressed as a scientist.
