Read Chris Brown’s story.

Stephanie Cooper, Eli, her one year old son, and Christopher Brown – their mailman, joined “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to talk about how Chris miraculously saved Eli’s life.

Last month, Stephanie was home in Greer, when Eli started to choke on a food wrapper.

Panicked, Stephanie ran outside for help. That’s when her mailman, Chris, jumped into action and saved Eli’s life.

Chris chatted with Ellen and explained why he thinks it was a divine intervention. “I believe it was a higher force that guided me," said Brown.

To celebrate Chris's heroic actions, Ellen gifted Stephanie with a mailbox that reads, “Our Mailman is a Hero”. She also invited Chris and Stephanie back in December to attend a taping of a 12 Days Of Giveaways show.

Special thanks to the staff of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
