Cott Beverages is expanding its manufacturing site at 1990 Hood Road with a 150,000 square foot building that will add 28 trailer parks and 15 docks.
Part of the expansion will include 1,800 square feet for additional office space to accommodate the transfer of its logistics staff from a warehouse leased in Taylors. That lease is expiring.
The International House of Pancakes (IHOP) at Suber Commons at the corner of Wade Hampton Blvd. and Suber Road will open on Tuesday, March 18.
Hiring for staff is being conducted on site in a makeshift office.
The Albino Skunk Music Festival is April 10-12 for its annual spring music fest.
Music, camping, a beer garden food trucks, a kids area and craft vendors will be at the festival at 4063 Jordan Road.

Fifty-four percent of Americans will celebrate Valentine’s Day with their loved ones this year, compared to 60 percent in 2013. The average person plans to spend $133.91 on candy, cards, gifts, dinner and more, up slightly from $130.97 last year. Men will spend $108.38 on gifts for their significant others – twice as much as women who will spend $49.41 on their special someone.
Total spending is expected to reach $17.3 billion.

Pride picked the Seattle Seahawks to beat the Denver Broncos. Pride’s score, 28-17, was the closest and the highest points differential of the Facebook entries. Seattle won, 43-8.
