Greer’s Magic Moody and Southside’s T. McKelvey put on a scoring clinic in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s boys basketball game.
Both players scored 11 points each in each team’s 15-point final period.
Spartanburg outscored Greer 9-1 in overtime to beat the Yellow Jackets 62-54 in a non-region game Tuesday night. Regulation ended 53-53.

Despite the cold and rain, the Greer Christmas Parade, kicked off at 2:30 this past Sunday, with nearly 70 entries.
Unfortunately the Blue Ridge High School and Greer High School marching bands were unable to attend due to the weather condition's effect on instruments and uniforms. Many band members came out to watch the parade and ride on other floats to support their schools.
The Greer Christmas Parade is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start Sunday – rain or shine, according to Greer Relief Executive Director Caroline Robertson.
The weather forecast is calling for 100 percent chance of rain with a high of 45 degrees Sunday.

Dorman outscored Greer 22-9 in the second quarter, after both teams matched 16 points in the first, fir a 35-28 halftime lead. Greer did outscore Dorman in the third and fourth quarter but it was enough to overcome the second quarter Cavalier blitz.
