The Riverside at Blue Ridge high school football game has been rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.
The Clinton versus Greer game at Dooley Field remains as scheduled on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Byrnes beat the Greer girls in a non-region tennis match Wednesday, 4-3.
Greer's No. 1 and 2 singles, Olivia Turner and Hanna Henline, respectively, won their matches and teamed to win at No. 1 doubles.
Byrnes beat Greer 45-7 Friday night at Nixon Field to record its 10th straight win in the rivalry.
Byrnes, No. 5 ranked in Class AAAAA, now leads the series 28-26-1 and hasn’t lost in the series since 2000.
One team will win its first game this season and the other will start 0-2 when Greer visits Byrnes tonight in high school football.
Unbeaten Riverside will play at Eastside and winless Blue Ridge is at Powdersville in the second week of games.

Roaming Greer’s defense is Quantavious Cohen, a hulking 6-foot, 250-pound sophomore. What isn’t known so prominently is Cohen is a Youth Police Academy 2015 graduate and 2016 mentor for the Greer Police Department’s.

Greer High School continued to introduce its new programs to the public as it hosted a pair of student orientations Thursday night.
After 22 years, Greer High School experienced something new Tuesday morning as most of the faculty and staff returned to work from summer break – Greer High School has a new principal.
Justin Ludley kicked off his tenure as Principal of Greer High School as he met with the faculty and staff of Greer High School during the first day of back to schoolwork days. Ludley, a former teacher and coach at Greer High School, was an assistant principal at Southside High School the past four years.
Greer High School’s track and field is getting an overhaul.
A new rubberized track and pole vault, triple jump and long jump pits are being constructed at the high school’s track. The vaults and jumps are new and the track is a replacement.
