Red was the color and strawberry the flavor for last year's pie eating contest the Freedom Blast. This year's event is scheduled for June 25.
A variety of military vehicles, Korean War vintage and forward, will be on display around City Park. The South Carolina National Guard will have its ropes course and climbing wall to challenge individuals.
Don't forget the Rib Eating Contest, and of course the Fireworks.
Admission is FREE!

PARKING
More than 600 striped parking spaces are available at no cost in city parking lots located a short walk from Greer City Park. Makeshift parking areas, such as the field opposite the Line Street entrance to Greer City Hall will be made available during Freedom Blast.
Also there is a $5 paid parking lot behind the Hot Spot on Depot Street.
